Around mid-April I got supper giddy and began to dream about having a vegetable garden this summer. Just a little one, nothing fancy–one tomato plant, one cucumber plant and one bell pepper plant. I spent one morning in April digging around and creating a bed for these new plants. I bought good, rich soil and tucked these plants into it. And that was about it.
And let us not lose heart & grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage. Galatians 6:9 AMP
Thank you for sowing. You are making a world of difference. You will see.
Can you getaway for 30 minutes this week?
Just to slow down/refocus/be still/cast your cares/worship.
It’s so important.
“I found my life when I laid it down…” is a line in Hillsong United’s new song “Touch the Sky”
And I think that line is so true–when we lay down our time and turn to God we remember [again] who He is, who We are, why we are here, and that God is near. [ha, it’s rhymes!]
I know life is mega packed and school work is out of control right now. But just take 30. Print off the sheet pictured above created by Jennie Allen. Go find a quiet spot. You will not ever regret those minutes.
love everyone in front of you.
